Keep Your Spin Touch® Firmware Up to Date

One of the many reasons why the WaterLink® Spin Touch® is the best photometer on the market is that LaMotte are constantly working on improvements to precision, reliability, and user experience.

A key way these improvements are delivered is through firmware updates. From time to time, LaMotte releases new firmware to correct issues, enhance performance, and add new features. If your firmware is out of date, you may experience anything from reduced battery performance to inaccurate test results.

When was the last time you checked your firmware?

Keeping your meter current is simple:

  1. Connect your Spin Touch® to your PC.

  2. Open the WaterLink® Connect 2 application.

  3. The app will tell you if your firmware is up to date or if an update is available.

  4. Just click Update and let the app do the rest.

How We Support You

  • Email notifications: Whenever LaMotte releases a new firmware version, we will send an email to all of our customers with details and instructions.

  • Application updates: From time to time, there may also be updates to the WaterLink® Connect 2 software itself. We’ll notify you about these as well, so you can follow the simple process to keep both your firmware and your application current.
